Basically the teaser clips made the jersey appear to be really nice and didn't really jive with the leaked pictures posted here.

Maybe they just did a really good job on the teasers but I'm way more excited about it now after being somewhat disappointed in the leaked images.

Watch it'll be exactly like the leaked pics haha.... I swear I had no dome beers last night!

On the teaser it also looked to me like the namebars on the back were White letters on a black rectangle, similar to the Flyers jerseys:

Something odd going on with this sweater and the EA leak. Everything about the teaser video makes it sound like the sweater looks pretty different from the leak. Why can't the Flames post the teaser video on the website!?

That could be a result of "Carolina" style name plating, where the black shoulder bar dips down the back

For anyone going to the game tomorrow night they played one clip per period during a stop in play. No warning or anything so get your phone ready haha.

That could have been it. Still doesn't jive with what you can see in the NHL 2014 pictures at the beginning of the thread.

I'm going to preface this with a few notes:
1) This isn't the script Calgary is using, just a very similar font. I'll work out something later when there's a better quality image to work off of
2) This by no means is a perfect jersey.
3) Ignore the font selection for the numbers and nameplate. Those are just quick placeholders.

So here's what I'm hoping we'll see. Taking into account that this could have just been a old rendering EA used as a placeholder, I'm hoping the final version had a couple tweaks along the way. But here's what we can assume will remain: Black shoulders, that awesome alternate logo, and 'Calgary' script. That taken into account, this is what I hope we'll see:


If that's on the ice, I'm not too upset. No major changes here, just little tweaks here and there. The yellow bands are thicker (understandable to assume that EA just hasn't represented this properly in the game), dropped the flaming 'C' (could have just been an early idea), and added a few details to the shoulders (could have been added later before final production).

But there is 100% a flaming C somewhere on the jersey based on teaser vids. Maybe one shoulder patch? Do they ever do two different shoulder patches? Or maybe the captain C?

Could you get any sense of the scale of the flaming C? Was it possibly the main logo, or definitely smaller than that?

The teaser confirmed the new shoulder patch on the black shoulder - why are people still guessing and not convinced the rest of the jersey isn't exactly how it is shown in the EA leak?

It very much may be exactly like the EA leak - we all know that. We are HOPING it's not, and we like playing around with ideas that we like better. That is all.
