The little teaser looked a bit better. I don't think the shoulder was completely squared off but I may be wrong, it was pretty quick.

Shoulder patch is great.
The rest of the jersey is not great, but I'm still voting yes in the poll. No piping, no flags, and I actually like the name in cursive on the front for a 3rd jersey.
It could've been done much better though.

Pretty sure it doesn't have black shoulders. And it looked like flaming c logo by itself somewhere on jersey. But hard to tell what the heck they're showing.

Yea thats what my brother thought too. Don't think the leaked picture is correct.
Full flaming c on front, mountain range triangle pattern/stripe along bottom, full red shoulders (not black) but leaked patch looked correct. That's my guess haha. Also seemed like more yellow highlights than leaked picture suggests.
I dunno now haha. Wondering if those teaser vids will be posted online anywhere.

That's kind of weird. I usually go with whatever Joborule hints at, as he's connected with EA and is pretty much 100% when he states things to do with the game.
When everyone stated "I don't think there's even going to be a third jersey", he just simply stated "There is". But more recently someone was questioning the legitimacy of the leak and he again simply stated "That's the jersey".
Are you guys sure it wasn't like weird close ups of the shoulder patch that made it look like there was a mountain range on the actual jersey? I can't get a grasp of how the video looked without being there, but it seems some are saying it was very confusing and brief, like the first time I....er anyways, maybe they were purposely making it look weird?

It may have been inside the neck or something but there was a mountain range that was not on the patch somewhere on the jersey.

It was confusing because they randomly, in between the whistle, cut to close in shots of the jersey from different angles. And they where really quick clips and there was no warning to pay attention so who knows.

Showcase your new jersey to the largest HNIC audience (when Toronto plays).

I suspect that mountain range shot was from the inside of the collar, or the "hanger effect". It's become quite popular in recent jersey releases.

I used to work on the EA Sports branding team and we would get every new and updated jersey designs from every league a coming out months before the release date.
These designs would come in a vector format that would state the exact pantone values and proportions.
There is no way that they would put a team jersey in the game that wasn't legit. There are too many legalities that EA would be accountable for if it wasn't the right image.

Except the game against Toronto is on a Wednesday, and on TSN.
Still, odd timing for a Sunday release. Maybe that's when they'll be available to purchase?
As an unveiling, maybe the Flames will wear them out to warmup or out on the ice after the Sat Oct 26 game vs Washington. Then CBC gets that coverage and the Flames gets maximum exposure that night, available in stores, locally at least, on Sunday?

Any chance it was similar to the Canada Men's Centennial soccer jersey? Audio waveform of Oh Canada inside the collar. Seems to becoming popular, as Kolbe31 said.

It is probably just because I am comparing them directly to the horse feces that Hockey Canada and Nike came out with, but I actually like it.The overall design is good, even if a little New Jerseyish. And while a wordmark is simplish, it is better than the flaming horse logo was. I really don't like the Flaming C part of the word mark though. I would rather have seen it as a shoulder patch on one side, and the mountain patch on the other.
