PK Subban is a really interesting player. Love his skill, love his character, would kill to have him on this team. He picked his team up and carried them back into the game. But, he also killed Montreal's attempt to come back, and not just because of the crosschecking penalty. The lat 10 minutes of that game, Subban's ego took over and he simply forgot he had teammates. He was trying to do it all by himself and be the hero, and ended up the goat.

Anyway, happy the kids got some points! Especially happy for Baėrtschi, after being hoofed in the nuts by Burke then being usurped as the top prospect by Monahan, I think he had a great game.
It was Ben Street. I was hoping he would pass to Street so he could score. Street has been amazing so far this year and I think I'd like him to stay for the whole year. He's starting to show why he was leading Abby.

Roger Millions ‏@RogMillions 1m #Flames concerned about RW David Jones. Went down in 3rd per. Appears to have upper body injury. Did not play much in 3rd.

Roger Millions ‏@RogMillions 30s
Domino effect of potential injury to Jones will be interesting to watch. They will hope not serious. #Flames

I do believe he's the type of player that can do it himself though. I was terrified everytime he was involved in an offensive zone play.

If the guy could control his emotions better he could be incredible. More incredible I guess.

Truthfully, I wasn't. Watching a guy blaze the length of the ice looks scary, but this isn't the 1980s. Modern defencemen usually have no trouble keeping that kind of play to the outside and out of danger. Most of Subban's rushes in that time frame ended with wide angle shots that went nowhere.

But Jesus, that was some goal he scored in the second.

Subban is a simply dynamic talent. He has the ability to take a game over by himself, and we saw that tonight. Unfortunately he still has those moments where he loses his focus, and plays selfishly. If he can completely eliminate that from his game he will be damn near impossible to stop.

Great player, but somewhat lousy teammate at times.

He played well, but he didn't really take the game over.

With 23 mins left he turned a dominating 3-0 Flames lead into a barely hanging onto your tits 3-2 lead.

The last 20 mins of the games was all PK. Thank god he took a stupid penalty.

Not good to hear Jones is injured. We are thin already at RW and he is one of the few big bodies we have at forward.

If he's out for any length of time I'm guessing Hanowski will be recalled to fill his spot.

Exactly, and has been mentioned played too much as an individual. Not how I would describe taking over a game.

I saw Street go out on that last PP and win a face off that basically killed the rest of the game. Funny how everyone seems to be all over him when he had as much to do with the win as anyone else not named Joey

What does that have to do with the other bad examples he sets for young players? That if you score a goal once and a while, it doesn't matter how you play any other time?

I still love seeing all the gifs after a win.

Street was just fine. He doesn't bring as much as Stajan but who expected him to?
Horak is a guy who could also be up but I don't see why Street should be sent down now.
Team is 6/8 points.

I'll probably be talking to Ward tomorrow about Street. It'll be interesting to get his take on a former pupil.
