That lazy penalty by Salvador turned a sure win into a loss. All he has to do is shoot the puck off the boards and instead he flips the pick over the glass and a 3-0 lead is not a 3-4 loss.

No, the Devils lost their pick for the Kovalchuk contract snafu.

It wasn't traded to Vancouver, that was their 1st pick last draft (used to pick Horvat).
