Nuge should not be playing in this game. It's been said before and I agree I don't see how he recovered so much faster then initially anticipated. If he did Kudos to him but I feel they rushed him back just because of their lack of depth at C.

Their defense and goal-tending is certainly worse.

Oilers are a shining example of why continual tanking is dangerous. The culture of losing is so ingrained in them that it'll take a ton of work to get that out of their system. Here's hoping for another decade of futility for our mulleted neighbours up north.

All the Oiler fans raging on twitter - priceless

I like this one:
Brandon Logan ‏@BrandonWLogan
The Flames roster may be less talented, but at least they have pride. The Oilers have no pride. That locker room has a losing attitude.

Wow, we will be lucky to have a higher draft pick than the oilers.

Hopkins shouldn't be one of the masses who gets an "A", certainly given his injury. The weight of that extra jersey material instantly adds about 15% of his body weight, all on one shoulder.

all this game needs is a yakupov goal in the final minute to put the Oilers within 3 followed by a power slide down the ice

Booed off the ice in game #3? Seems a bit early for that.

It's a good thing Oilers don't have a shoulder patch.

His excitement is understandable given how rarely he gets to touch the puck during the course of a normal game.

Cue the bold move McTavish...might be time for some of those 1st overall picks to get moved. This team is terrible, and will not get better.

Going to be ugly in Edmonton tomorrow. Oilers had 11 shots on net thru two periods. And yes they got booed off the ice at home.

This makes my night.

@dantencer Oilers get loudly booed off the ice after 40 minutes. Much like Saturday's Eskimos game, this place will empty as soon as they draw 50/50.
