It's pretty awful, but at least it's not Ronald McDonald awful.



And the Flames sold plenty of those abominations, so no doubt we'll all be treated to these in even greater numbers.

That said - I'd rather have a heinously ugly 3rd every 2 years than more advertising crammed into the playing surface. It's all about the revenue streams, and even these barftastic eyesores aren't to the level of those eurotrash Skoda jerseys.



I mean honestly. Looking at that thing has to do some sort of brain damage.

I've already been embarrassed by Liverpools abomination of a 3rd kit this year. If real, this looks almost as bad. It beats out the Heritage one as the worst Flames jersey ever. And way worse than the horse head. Please stop giving incompentent designers the chance to soil the appearance of great clubs.

Seriously, there's 34 people on this board who like this jersey. Let that sink in for a minute. It's as bad as a walmart kids mock up jersey, and 34 people here like it a as an NHL jersey.

I'm one of the now 60 who liked it, I really don't see the big problem with it, the shoulder patches are not the greatest but bar that I think its ok. Or maybe the girlfriend is right and I have no fashion sense.

Being from the UK and following the ELITE League here it's a bit harsh to criticize the teams here for the advertising on their jerseys as unlike the NHL we don't have the luxury of revenue sharing so the teams have to make a profit or they fold simple as. Advertising is one of the biggest revenues so its more a case of needs must than a fashion statement!

I quite dislike this jersey, but only because of the black shoulders. I like the new shoulder patch logo and when I see split's mockup with the red shoulders I think I love it. The black shoulders look awful though. I hate them.

I'm not a fan.

I do like the new shoulder patch, but I'm not at all fond of the word-mark, and am not happy that there is so little yellow and so much black. I know strombad has tried to make a point about how black is a team colour based on its longevity, but I disagree about its traditional importance. The Flames opted for the addition of black to the uniform at a time when half the teams in the NHL were adding black; its more of a trend than an actual team colour.

That's pretty bad. Not as bad as the old fire-breathing donkey, and not even close to as bad as the Bruins old yellow pooh-bear jersey, but still pretty bad.

They are still better than the pedestal abomination.

I still need to see the real thing but I'll echo....hate the black shoulders, patch looks interesting...and I just am not a big workmark guy. I cheer for the logo on the front.....when they *&^%$ it usually turns out bad.

So 2 thumbs down but like any jersey addict I wanna see the real thing.

It looks like one of those cheap knock-offs you can find at Wal-Mart, or zellers. If this really is the jersey, it's worse than the flaming snot horse x10
