I doubt Laviolette makes it out of October at this rate.

Kane stuffs home a rebound in a goalmouth scramble...Bickell and Hjammer with assists 1-0 'Hawks...Lightning still not generating much in the 2nd, just a couple of weak shots directed at Crawford.

Yup - he has definitely taken the early lead in the who-gets-canned-first race

Chara, Lucic and Iginla all on 1st PP in BOS!!

... and, with Krug and Krejci, they're clearly a legit #1 PP

They have enough talent that they should be able to get it together. Definitely look like a poorly-coached team.

Gill might help on the back end, but there's no reason why their offense should be so inept.

Nice comeback by the BJs, it is 2-2 now. Montreal is now up 3-0.

Poorly managed team as much as coached. Trading Carter and Richards for Simmonds, Schenn, Voracek and draft picks was a bad move

And the goalie thing. That alone should be enough to get a GM fired.

Im confused by the enthusiasm on CBC- has bernier made 12 whole saves, or did he cure cancer?

Florida really fell apart in the second.

Also, eyes can be so deceiving when you try to determine faceoff success.

I think the owner forced that one to happen. They should have just went after Luongo instead of Bryzgalov, it wouldn't have cost them anything at least.
