Well, Flames were better at even strength against a playoff team on the road. Hate to blow the lead but things could be a lot worse.

Sure. I'm just making sure my groans and criticism are in the context of the talent level of the team. If they start floating and cherry picking, I'll be pissed. Effort and improvement can forgive a lot of talent gaps.

Russell is at least as good as Bouwmeester to my eyes. Very smooth skater. Creative offensively. Weak in his own zone, but so was Bouw. Good pick-up.
