Seriously. A rookie does that you can maybe write it off and figure he'll learn to control his aggression, but from a marginal player who's been in the league for 6 years that's just unacceptable. It's not even a play where he's crashing the net and goes too far, just a pointless cheap shot at a key point in the game.

You should know by now that Hartley's policy of accountability only applies to rookies. Remember his coaching pre-Iginla trade?
It was a dumb penalty and an embellishment.

Gali didn't face palm the guy on purpose. He was going to the net and turned into the goalie. We bitch all last year about how no one goes to the net. When you play that game, penalties are gonna happen. Hartley puts him back on the ice, he goes to the net again and they create some action.
