He's been pretty solid I thought. A couple of those goals were tipped and you can't blame the goalie much on a breakaway.

It'll take a bit of time but rebound control can be reeled in with more shots faced. Just need to get used to the shots in the nhl. Unless of course your name is Patrick Lalime.

Really? I'd say it's been good. Like I said, he doesn't give Washington any extra chances. He intervenes in the right moments, pucks go where they need to go.

Monahan getting a little time here protecting a lead.
10-12 minutes a night letting him taste different situations is a perfect transition for him. After 3ish games, see if he can handle a little more. By game 8-9, you'll have a good idea if he can contribute for 15 minutes a night in all situations.
No need to go all youth this early in the season.
