nope. It sounds like some xbox users are getting on, and that once you get past the tutorial it's a lot smoother. Doesn't look like PS3 users have had much luck so far.

I made my character and watched the intro with Lamar, then I went to do the street race and it just hung up on 'waiting for other players'. I assume that is the 'tutorial' part.

When do you start actually earning a lot of cash? I feel like I've done 4 or 5 heists or major missions that should have paid out big, but every time all the cash ends up with someone else...

The big payoff is at the end.

The smart way to make huge cash though would seem to be wait to do the assassination missions last, after the main storyline. Then you can do the appropriate stock moves with 20+ million.

Anyone else pissed off that the ifruit app hasn't been release on Android?

Tried to get online working last night with no luck. Got through the cool Online intro and as soon as they force you to start the first mission I get an "Error Connecting" message, which then kicks me back into single player.

I'm able to play solo mode online, made it through the tutorial.(ps3) but can't connect to any races or death matches

Yeah, yesterday I could only make a character, today I could only get through the intro and 'Launching session'. Maybe tomorrow I can get to the first race!

I played online a bit just now, I got through the first race and a couple missions. I was online with a couple guys who kept killing me mid-job

It wouldn't load any death matches, and it was very glitchy. Hopefully they figure it all out soon

Lol really? Flying is ridiculously easy. I don't even play much flight games and suck at it in Battlefield and I've literally never crashed. Super simple, arcadey, and fun.

I love the flying, right down to the wind gusts they've introduced. I just think you get way better at it after the flight school missions.

I bought the Grapeseed airstrip with Trevor and did the first couple missions before doing any flight school, and you can get up and maneuver around fine. It's the landing and skirting around tight spaces where it gets tricky at first. From only knowing flying from previous GTA's, its a little different too, what with the whole picture flipping with you now. Also gotta train yourself to move left/right with LB/RB, as opposed to just L/R on the joystick.

I think stealing a plane from LSX and then trying to do an E-landing on top of Chiliad to grab a parachute as your very first time in a plane in V would be quite challenging.

No idea but I'm very early in the game.

That said I got $100k in stock from the kid CEO of the pet food place for getting his bike back for him (one of the blue dot situation that pop up as your drive around).

Yep. Played it just long enough to get Chops fully trained.

Used the car customization part and while it took my money and told me to go to the shop and get the result, I don't get that option. So i just lost all the money.

I'm having an issue where every time I try to download the latest software update, my PS3 freezes. Any ideas?
