I said in the thread this summer that I think he'll be in the mix for the Olympic team.

I think he will be on it.

He is already as fast as anyone in the league and on the big ice, that is huge

Tanguay had negative trade value.

Nobody was giving up anything significant for him and the Flames have no use for his selfish attitude during a rebuild.

Perhaps they could have squeezed a 5th rounder out of it but nothing more IMO.

I wont argue with that... Tanguay is the better player.

This is a team sport though and the Flames as a team need players like Jones much more than they need a guy like Tanguay.
