The Oilers are less than average at the game of ice hockey.
What a terrible team.

This game is another example that the only thing you can't change on the Oilers is the suck

How many other people went over to HF and went to the Oilers forum and read that epic meltdown? Yes, I do that.

Personally I'm about to listen to the post-game radio show. Should be good for a laugh.

It's funny. All advanced statistics show that Dubnyk is at least an average starting goaltender.
Tells you that numbers aren't everything.

I know why the Oil lost. They didn't have all of the "A"'s.

Edmonton Oilers @EdmontonOilers
"It stings. Losses are supposed to sting. That's a feeling you're never supposed to get used to." @Ferknuckle on the defeat
And YET you chose the Oilers.
For shame okotoker. For shame.

Trouba looked incredible. Jets lucky to win, dubby was terrible. Always nice to see the Oilers lose

Trouba is looking like the kind of player you hope to get with a 1st overall pick.
I hope Ekblad can perform at a similar level at that age.

Just turned on 630 CHED and the guys on the radio said just before the break "If they continue to play this way, the Oilers will be fine. The goaltending will be better Saturday night".
Okay then.

The best part about Oiler fans on HF is how much they use the term "hard minutes" when describing competition.
They pull that #### out all the time more than any other fanbase.

How about the numerous giveaways and poor defensive play?
The Canucks are much better than the Jets......I don't think they'd be 'fine'.
What a strange take for that radio station to take. I'd be a lot more concerned.

Hrm. Dallas Eakins saying they were surprised by how open the net was sometimes and that's why they didn't score. Don't think i've ever heard that excuse...
