If the guy packs a gun, it's only fair to say that the bikers could be carrying too. In this case, I'm glad no guns were involved. The outcome could have been A LOT worse if they were involved.
I'm actually pretty glad there were no guns involved. Yes, people are injured and it was serious, but a gun (or most likely guns) only would have made the outcome worse. As is usual with guns.
If guns were involved, we'd most likely be talking about dead bodies rather than injuries. The fact that no one was actually killed in this situation is probably due to the absence of guns.
Apparently the guy who was hit has 2 broken legs and some spinal damage that may lead to paralysis. There's also a pic of the driver laying bleeding on the road after being beaten and slashed.
Follow up info and some decently graphic pics here:
Time to mount flame throwers on the side of the car to deal with this rampant road rage/idiot driver problem
Cool story time
My buddy live in south africa. He friends was stopped at a red light with his window down. I guy came up and tried to grab him out of the car. The driver fought him off and they guy ran away. Stopped next to this fella was a police car, they told him "we suggest you roll up your window"
TIA.

I find myself lacking sympathy. These riders deliberately chose to swarm the vehicle, then terrorize the driver - and apparently this isn't the first time they've done stupid ####, broke laws, acted like doooshes. They attacked the SUV and essentially forced the driver to choose between protecting his family/their welfare, and the biker's welfare. Obviously, a person's family is likely to win out every time. The biker put himself there - not the driver. Not a lot of sympathy for him. Consquences. *shrug*
What a bunch of clowns. Don't feel sorry for any of them (bikers).
And that NY post article is complete crap. It contradicts itself several times, no bikers injured, but then quotes that a guy had both legs broke, and his daddy saying he'll never walk again. What a great piece of journalism.
Quick question for you Rover fans. Since when does side window glass break and hang in a sheet? It doesn't appear to have tint in any of the pics. Usually it shatters into itsy bitsy pieces.
And seriously, who picks on an asian dude? Everyone knows they all know Karate and can kill you with their bare hands right?
Sounds to me like the mom is buttering things up for a lawsuit. There's no way that "aspiring rapper" doesn't sue the driver here....even though he should be going after his biker buddy.
I'm having trouble with my sympathy for the guy that was hurt and part of what looks like mob violence on the family.
In otherwords, if your beating on a guy and attacking his vehicle with his wife and young kid in there and get run over when he flees in terror. Then your in the wrong playground pal.

Exactly. Vehicle getting swarmed and attacked? Tires slashed? Fearing for your life? Need to do what's best for the safety of your family? Escaping the situation is completely instinctive and acceptable. If you get run over as part of the group initiating the violence... you knew what you signed up for. You accepted the risks and the consequences.
That guy should of used that Rover to its full potential and made more speedbumps out of those morons. If I have to choose between protecting my family from being assulted and terrified in any way and buying a new car I would rather buy a new car. Hope that "rappers" folks can afford a wheelchair ramp.

I dont understand what the group of bikers is. Are they a gang? Are they a club made up of motorcycle enthusiasts? Are they a family going for a sunday afternoon drive? Who are they and what is their purpose taking over the road like that?
Seems like they enjoy being a general nuisance and have no regard for anyone else.

I can't say I have any sympathy for the guy who got ran over. I know the mom isn't rational and all, so I understand where she's coming from, but she's wrong. The guy in the SUV did stop. But the fact that your son and the other hooligans decided to swarm his vehicle was why the guy freaked and started driving to protect himself and his family. Nothing wrong with that, and no justice needed IMO. Sad that your son may never walk, but he brought it upon himself. He'll have the rest of his life to reflect on his own stupidity.
