that's the big thing. This Oiler's group had a great time over the last bunch of years with little motivation to win and less motivation to actually learn to play a 200 foot NHL game.

It was basically go out there and do your thing, what the coach wants us to back check? Screw day mang.

We'll see if he's figured out the right way. Its far easier to motivate AHL players then NHL millionaires with guaranteed long term contracts.

This is where some of the Oilyaz might be separated from the rest. This is where the true evaluations are going to take place and some of the Oilers core might not like it very much.

A lot easier to control players who are trying to earn a spot on the big club. Motivation is a different beast in the NHL
