Knight played well in the pre-season. By all accounts from Leafs fans, Colborne was awful.

Holy cow!! I think we finally won a trade over Toronto this time.  I always want to see Joe Colborne play for the Flames. He is a big centre. The question now is we need to send 6 players to AHL. One is a goalie Berra I think, D Chris Breen, that leaves 3 or 4 forwards to be send. It looks like Horak might start in Abby, Blair Jones is the other forward.

It would be nice to know the conditions on the pick. Can it become higher? (giving up the 60th pick would be brutal), or will it be lower if he doesn't mean expectations (# of games played, perhaps)?

I had him in NHL 12 and he developed into a 89 rated player....
For this reason alone, I like this.

2 assists, +2, 8-3 on the faceoff dot tonight. Not too bad at all.
I thoroughly expect those numbers to carry over in the regular season for us this season. Will be disappointed if he can't.

I think this effectively moves Galiardi back to the wing. Which is good, I think we've had enough failed conversion attempts to last a decade.
