He's busy starting and quitting fantasy leagues in the middle of the initial draft. 
Someone mentioned Lanny. He was the deterrent to the brainless post. Back n his day you were careful what you posted for fear of getting lit up.
I also miss Shawnski for his quality posts and great game threads. He posted goals complete with red light, and the players name in flaming font. He was the Sureloss of his time.

Oh no, I agree, he was a nut bar half the time but with him around it seemed posters were more careful and the discussion more thoughtful. That could all be nostalgia too as even when I came along the board was smaller and you felt you were joining a group of people not a huge board.

Moron or not, I miss Lanny's posts. Highly, highly entertaining. Whenever I saw his avatar pop up (think it was God from Monty Python) I knew there were some laughs to be had.
The way he tore other posters new a-holes if they said something stupid was classic.
