How much do you usually get from robbing an armored car? Just wondering if it is worth it.
Not much, like 5 grand. Good if you're near the start but not so great if you think you'll waste a tonne of info.
At random points in the game you'll drive by the armored car parked and doing a pick up, the map will light up with a blue dot and you can just pop the guard walking with the sack of cash, much easier.

I blasted the back doors of a security truck with a shotgun about 12 times to no effect. This raised some alarms. After outrunning the cops and hiding, I then went to Ammunation, hoping to find some good explosives. Bought a grenade and blasted the truck. Still the doors didn't open, and I had to then outrun the cops. Unfortunately the truck wasn't still there on my return.
I haven't played since Saturday but ill finally get some time in today. Stupid responsibilities. Then I'm gone for the weekend, todays probably my only chance until next Wednesday

I've caught them loading the truck before, just went up and shot them.

Sticky Bomb the doors and they will pop right open
you also have to be careful, if you get out of your car when they're loading up the vehicle they will shoot you

I'm like 76% done this game. Missions were fun and easy, i'm done the whole story line. Just buying businesses and doing those lame misc missions now. Love messing around with stick bombs and grenade launchers.
Those buggies are a blast to tear ass across the desert with. It's fun when you realize that outside the city you really don't need to follow the road guides to get to your objective, makes things far more interesting
The fighter jet handles almost as badly as the helicopters do, damn it's hard to control. But I did manage to steal one from the base, avoid getting shot down, then managed to land it and save it in Trevor's hanger. That might come in handy later on
I like finding vantage points that you can shoot people, but can't be easily shot. Just went on a rampage, that ended with me at the pier. Was picking off the cops as they descended from the helicopter. Blowing up the helicopters with grenade launchers etc.
And yes I am aware I sound like a psychopath when I talk about GTA.
