Default Whatever happened to

I landed upon an old "GT" thread and saw a posting by the user "Netminder". Although I have only recently become a CP member, I have been following this awesome website since 2010. Of the comments that always made me almost spill my drinks with laughter all over my keyboard were Netminder's. He had his way with the words. Does anyone know what happened to him? Along with many other awesome members on this site, he was a unique one - especially in GT and PGT theads.

I think Netminder tried to take a class to learn how to structure sentences properly and his head exploded.

We should start a CP hall of fame thread. Nominate a poster and their signature post. So many to choose from .....
- Hunt and his SO
- netminder (various)
- the Bingo's a troll guy
- Ren eating pubes
- Chris Lindberg's obsession with Backlund- based lines. (My favourite part is he never posted again once Backlund played his first NHL game)
- .....

Wolven. That was pretty priceless. One of the very few posts that actually dropped my jaw.

Netminder was a computer in a closet of an abandoned home in Finland that was left plugged in, and somehow became sentient. It's CPU was a neural net processor; a learning computer, and it was is it's infancy of communicating with humans. I suspect after grasping a command of the English language on CP, it is now ghost writing dialogue for episodes of Americas Funniest Videos. It's only a matter of time.......

Also; I vaguely recall someone calling out sureLoss for his inability to recognize Dion Phaneuf's 'skating style' at training camp one time. That was pretty funny.

Netminder was awesome. Ren was funny in an unintentional way - I bet he's here somewhere.

I felt bad for netminder. The guy obviously is handicapped and you had some big jackass ######s making fun of him.

The thing I've noticed about Wolven, more recently, is that he misses most jokes. Like just blatantly misses them and takes everyone's CP isms and sarcasm at face value, and doesn't really know the ins and outs of CP.

I mean, I guess it's possible to frequently post here for years and not know who the mods are or who runs the site or what the running jokes are. It would be extremely tough to do, but Wolven does it, somehow.
