Being at the dome, sleep now in the fire got me so amped. It may be simpler than righteous smoke but it pumped me up way more. Light em up was the worst..

Who here submitted these 3 songs so far to the contest?
I think I submitted Sleep Now in the Fire if I remember correctly.
I submitted Sleep Now in the Fire as soon as I saw the link. I think they're just playing the top four vote getters though, so it doesn't really matter, does it?
I haven't like any of them so far. Just not my type of music. Not that I have any better suggestions.

The problem I have with RATM and that whole angry rock genre is that it only targets one part of the Flames audience...the younger male. It kind of ignores all the kids, families, women, older people (ie. season ticket holders) that are there too, and that you want to attract. The Dome is best when it's a cross-section of people attending.
I think you're stereotyping people too much there. RATM and their whole genre had it's best days about twenty years ago. It's for people in their thirties and fourties now, people with kids etc.
Btw, whoever does the mixes of the goalsongs at the dome has done an absolutely horrid job with what he was given, and is a big reason why the rock songs sounds sounded like such a mess.
I have to add that judging by the suggestions on their facebook page when they announced the competition (various top 40 pop/rap/techno songs with almost zero originality or suitability) the tracks played so far are almost solely thanks to CP votes, with maybe an exception for FOB. So well done, folks.
I wonder what the last track could be..?
RATM gets my vote at this point. Monster Truck is close, but RATM was perfection, imo.

Again it doesn't help that the streams have had echoes due to the overlapping of the Fan960 audio and the jumbotron itself.

I think there's a prize for submitting the winning song, so it kind of does matter who has submitted what.
