I was @ Candlestick for the game today in the lower level seats! What an amazing win and there were lots of Colts fans in attendance!!!! Awesome atmosphere in SF and the defense was dynamite all game. Didn't give the 49ers anything. A needed win after losing a game they should have won last week but lost to a deserving Miami team.
Anyways, wow what an atmosphere. There is absolutely nothing in terms of football like watching an NFL game live. Absolutely unreal and I am so lucky and glad to have had that experience today @ Candlestick. Jaguars next week, can't let it be a trap game.

I loved Candlestick as well, I'm glad you had a better outcome while you were there than I did. I think the only downside to that stadium is trying to get out of there afterwards. It was like the hunger games of city buses

Thanks. And 25 percent of the stadium left with 4 minutes left on the Luck TD and then 75 percent of the stadium was gone with a minute and change left when the Colts went up 27-7. So getting out wasn't so bad at all. We didn't take the buses. We took the muni train to the Caltrain and then the Caltrain to San Jose.

Jets set a team record for penalties and penalty yards, but still pulled out the win. Geno looked better, but still had 2 ints. The first one was badly underthrown to a wide open Santonio Holmes and second one he was duped by a linebacker (a mistake that some veterans still make occasionally). Our D is going to be good with Coples, Richardson and Wilkerson up front.

Cards Safety Rashad Johnson lost the top part of a finger during the Saints game yesterday. He's not sure when it happened.

Quote:
Arizona Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson said Monday that he lost the top of his left middle finger just above the knuckle during Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints.
The Cardinals safety lost the top part of his left middle finger on another play.
Johnson realized the significance of the injury when he pulled his hand out of his glove and the fingertip was still in it.
He underwent surgery Sunday night. Doctors shaved down the bone in the finger to prevent infection. There are no plans to reattach the finger, and Johnson's injury may take a few weeks to heal.

Sounds fun.
I remember breaking a finger after getting it caught between 2 facemasks once. It hurt a bit, but didn't seem that bad until I pulled my glove off and it was filled with blood. Even then it didn't hurt until quite a while later, adrenaline is a heck of a natural drug. That of course pales in comparison to this, but he's also likely much tougher than me.

Not to be cute or creepy here...
But i was playing LB in HS and a running back was going to my left as i was engaged with a lineman...i reached out to grab him and my hand rode up to his mask where my thumb then wedged into the bottom part near the side of his face....i was dragged a couple yards before it came out...when i stood up and looked at it, it was hanging straight down from the wrist area and had zero movement...quite literally destroyed each and every muscle and tendon around it, pulled it out of joint obviously as well.
They did get it relatively fixed mind you, although i can dislocate it on demand with no discomfort whatsoever.

Too good to make up

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones was hurt early this morning after a brawl erupted on a party bus filled with his Ravens teammates ... TMZ has learned.
It happened after a night of partying in Washington D.C. celebrating Bryant McKinnie's birthday.
Sources at the scene tell us ... at about 3 AM, as people were leaving Opera Ultra Lounge, people on the bus began fighting. In addition to teammates, we're told at least one stripper was on board.
|
Quote:
One eyewitness tells us he saw a bottle being swung at Jacoby Jones -- it connected with his head and hurt him. We're told an ambulance was called "for a bleeding male" but he was not taken to the hospital.
Our sources say a stripper named Sweet Pea is the one who hit Jacoby with a gigantic Ace of Spades bottle and this may have triggered the brawl. We're told the bottle smashed over his head and he was "bleeding everywhere."
We're told Jacoby's friends tried to retaliate against Sweet Pea but Bryant McKinnie tried to stop him, and a fight broke out between the friend and Bryant.
FYI ... Jacoby is currently injured and hasn't played since week 1.

This Manning offense could be even better than the 2007 Patriots were.
On pace for another 500+ yards passing and 6 TDs tonight.
Just beautiful to watch.

The Clady injury may slow them down against teams with a decent pass rush. However, the Broncos aren't simply an offense. Last season they finished 2nd in total defense. Once they get Miller and Champ back they could become formidable on both sides of the ball. And don't forget special teams. Trindon Holliday is a touchdown machine (and a fumble machine). The Broncos are going to be a tough out this season.

That's a fumble and should have been run back for 6 points.

This is really sad, that these big successful programs like Ohio State and the Broncos scheduling cupcakes early in the year, then running up the score.
