Yeah, he got ejected...
Makes you wonder what the NC State player said to trigger that reaction.

So the rumour is out there now that Texas will pursue Nick Saban to replace Mack Brown. This pretty much isn't a question of money because Texas will simply go to Nick, write a blank check and ask him to fill in whatever he wants.
This to me comes down to two things: Is Alabama in any danger of facing sanctions after recent allegations SEC players from many schools (including Alabama) received benefits? And does he feel like he has nothing left to prove at Alabama and wants a new challenge?
Personally I don't think he's leaving Alabama for another college team unless Alabama gets hit with sanctions. I think part of him still wants to make up for his disasterous NFL run, so if he leaves Alabama it will only be to the NFL.

The Associated Press has learned that a University of Texas regent and a former regent spoke with Alabama coach Nick Saban's agent about Saban coaching the Longhorns if Mack Brown retired.
Regent Wallace Hall of Dallas told the AP he spoke by telephone with agent Jimmy Sexton a few days after the Jan. 7 title game. Tom Hicks, a former regent who is the brother of current regent Steve Hicks, also was on the call. Tom Hicks, the former owner of the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Stars and the English professional soccer team Liverpool, was a regent in 1997 when Brown came to Texas and was instrumental in hiring him away from North Carolina.
Brown, who had just finished his 15th season at Texas, said he wanted to keep coaching, and the matter was dropped.
"Nothing went on that I know of. I haven't talked to anybody about that situation," Saban said Thursday on his weekly radio show. "... Quite frankly, I'm just too damn

Knowing sabans history, doesnt that almost guarentee that he is moving on?

I don't want him that badly either. I would rather us bring in a younger guy. Sure he would win, but I am not a fan of his recruiting tactics (greyshirting, non-commitable offers etc...) Although, everyone is beginning to do the same. The names that are being tossed around the most are Gruden and Strong. I really want Strong, but don't think he will want to deal with all the BS that comes with the job ie the LHN commitments.

"I just feel strong about the injustice that the NCAA has been doing for years," Foster said Friday. "That's why I said what I said. I'm not trying to throw anybody under the bus. ... I feel like I shouldn't have to run from the NCAA anymore. They're like these big bullies. I'm not scared of them."
"I don't know if this will throw us into an NCAA investigation -- my senior year (2008), I was getting money on the side," Foster said in the video. "I really didn't have any money. I had to either pay the rent or buy some food. I remember the feeling of like, 'Man, be careful.' But there's nothing wrong with it. And you're not going to convince me that there is something wrong with it.
Foster went on to describe a situation in which he had no food or money and called a coach.
"Either you give us some food or I'm gonna go do something stupid," Foster recalled telling him.
"Look at the attention it's getting," Foster said. "They really have us hoodwinked into thinking taking money is wrong as a college athlete. It's wrong for us, but it's not wrong for them. I guarantee every NCAA official has a (BMW) or Benz or something. That's not wrong, but it's wrong for me to get $20 to get something to eat? Dez Bryant couldn't get taken out to dinner by Deion Sanders, his mentor, he sat out a whole season because of that? That's not wrong? But if you can drive around in a Benz, that's OK? It's not right."

Tennessee is awful but Florida does have a really terrific defense. I think I saw they let up something like 10 yards after the first quarter of their game against Miami. Unfortunately for Florida their offense is a complete joke.

Louisville beat FIU 72-0... I'm not sure if it was a joke but the CBS guy said that the schools agreed to have a continuous running clock for the last quarter?

No doubt...one of the best in football.
That being said though...TN was inept at basic things all over the place. Hard to fathom from a team that was elite for many years. Its like watching Idaho or someone.
I mean its bad... 25 plays run....for 31 yards total. 4/11 throwing for 5 yds and 2 INT's along with 2 fumbles.
Lovin the USC defense thus far as well...much better than i thought...still a long road ahead however.

Dont believe that would be allowed...though it would be rather funny.

Washington is beating Idaho State 49-0 after 3, Baylor is up 42-0 over Louisiana Munroe in the 2nd quarter. These games have got to go or if not teams should be punished by the playoff selection committee for taking a bye week and actually still playing a game. We could, if Baylor keeps pouring it on, see 4 games with an accumulated score of 250-0 or more.

yes that is true, not just the final quarter, almost the entire 2nd half.
http://college-football.si.com/2013/...running-clock/
Sounds like FIU asked for it which is a disgrace. No matter how bad they are losing they should keep trying, try to win a drive, win a quarter etc, less try to give up less points in the 2nd half then the first. That's how teams get better.

Wow....thats a disgrace.
I guess it kind of flies in the face of "every game counts" in the current system as well.
Its ridiculous.

it's because the schools make stupid amounts of money scheduling these games. That's even when they pay the other school to play them too.
School doesn't care if the stadium is empty for that game because most of the tickets are season tickets and sold.
it's a joke, I'm tired of it, fans are tired of paying 450/night with 2 night min for a hotel room and all the gas to get to the game, the booster fees (which you have to pay to even buy season tickets) and then get stuck with crap games.
It also doesn't help that down in gainesville they like to play those cupcakes at noon in september. Nothing like having a football game in a 35* and 85% humidity! that will really make the fans want to watch
