Obviously, he's the right choice...and he's great to have as a Flame...I love everything about the guy...
But, I'm still hoping all 3 of these guys get moved for futures... I think it's less likely Gio gets moved with the C, so I'm a bit sad about that.
Cammalleri is gone at some point this year due to his contract expiring, but wanting to trade all of our veteran presence is counterproductive. We're better off hoping to keep and extend both Glencross and Giordano for a couple years beyond their current contracts.

If Cammalleri says that he is happy to stay here (to Feaster, not to the media) then I hope the Flames extend him. Everything being said about the guy from the rookies makes me want to keep him around as a mentor.
However, if he wants to go chase the cup (and I support him in that as well) then I hope we get a great deal at the deadline to send him to a contender.
I wonder if a Cammy contract extension could be in the works???
I don't understand why at this stage of his career he would look to sign with a rebuilding team. Also if he has a nice season he's probably going to be worth at the very least a 2nd round pick at the trade deadline and now is the time for the Flames to be stocking picks while they attempt to load up on prospects.

He's already said he's open to extension talks.
