Some dude on HF supposedly to be Jooris' cousin says Jooris made the cut, and that Hanowski / Eddy were cut.
I now leave myself open to a scolding for possibly believing random things the internets tell me.

On the fan this morning they predicted to be discussing the cuts this afternoon on the Big Show / Flames at 5. Not sure if that was based on anything official from the Flames or not.

Why would Jooris' alleged cousin know the status of Hanowski and Eddy?
Big family?

To be fair, he did call the Jooris signing a day or two before it was announced.

Would think a player would definetely be aware of all of the players who were cut...
That's pretty standard for any sports where a person has to make the team
No clue if this true or not...

I thought Jooris outplayed Bouma, after seeing the results I think I may be on the minority...

If the players have known for long enough that they're talking and comparing notes, their thoughts would be popping up on twitter and other places as well.
Anyway, I really don't care - we'll hear soon enough
Edit: well that didn't take long!

Thought maybe Poirier and Ortio would get longer looks.
But Abby needs two goalies.

I'm disappointed that Cundari has been sent down. However, I'm glad that Wotherspoon, Sieloff, and Ramage still have a shot.

Well Jooris' cousin is 2 for 2. He already has more credibility than Eklund.

Very unfortunate to see Nemisz get sent down so early... will he ever be able to skate at an NHL level? Every year I have hopes he can crack the line-up but I don't think it's going to happen.

nope, he wasn't noticeable at all during this camp. I think he is an AHL player and will stay there.
I had hopes for him when he was producing the OHL but that hasn't panned out for the NHL so far, unfortunately.
