Yup, it's more up-tempo, makes a bit more sense - and has the part the audience can participate in (the whoa'ing at the end).

And it's not Fall out Boy.

I liked it on the first goal... less so on the second. Kind of annoying, not a good sign for a goal song I would like to hear hundreds of times in a season. /shrug

That's actually kinda cool that we may in fact have influenced the goal song choices!

Monster Truck works. Wasn't sure after first goal, but sounded better after 2,3 and 4. Hope to hear it a few more times tonight, just to make sure!

Song was wayy better IMO, sounded natural as a goal song, took me till goal 3 to remember that they were having a competition, the song just automatically clicked with me as our goal song.

At first I was a Light 'em up supporter but now my support has gone to Righteous Smoke.

I found it to be annoying, but better than the first one. Would still be a mediocre choice in my opinion.

I really thought tonight's goal song didn't quite cut it. I think that was largely due to the timing of the clip chosen. If a bit more of the "whoa" was included at the end, it might be ok. Overall, I was not a big fan of tonight's song.

I still prefer Light 'em Up but I want to know what are the other two songs. I wonder if CP can go 4/4.

Either way, whatever song it is, I want to be hearing a lot of it this year.

Couldn't agree more, they really missed the boat by not following AC's chosen clip of the song...

Well, Sleep Now in the Fire was one of the top 2 for the Flames. That seems a likely possibility for the Flames to at least try out.

What would the 4th have to be for CP to go 4 for 4?
