Everyone in the stadium knows it's going to be a run. You have to be able to stop it. If you can't you don't deserve to win

I only saw the last ~10 minutes and from what I saw Saskatchewan did not deserve to win at all.
West is Calgary's to lose. Saskatchewan and BC will fight it out for second

Yeah....Toronto deserved that game particularly because of that missed major penalty that became a fumble and then a Rider TD.
Stamps all alone in 1st place....as it should be.

How about them Thugriders? Cold cocking dudes on the street and on the football field. I want to know what football league was that vicious Brackenridge headshot a tackle and not a deliberate attempt to injure? That would be 15 yards and a $20,000 fine in the NFL possibly more.

Alouettes passing yards after the first quarter was 0. QB Tanner Marsh is not having a good day so far.

Brutal offense by Als. They finally got a good run from RB Messam but he fumbled the ball. BC recovered.
Looks like BC just fumbled the ball too with 28 seconds remaining and Montreal recovered. Als dodged the bullet there.

South of the border players, south of the border behavior.
Riders deserved to lose that one, that was absolutely pitiful. Hopefully they bounce back against BC next weekend otherwise this season is going to end ugly.

Wow it looks like Wally Buono's trade for QB Buck Pierce is looking like a genius move. I heard Travis Lulay got injured and might be lost for a few games. At least with Bucky on the lineup they don't have to rely on rookie QB DeMarco.

Year of the backups.
Edm - Reilly, first year starter
Cal - BLM, 3rd stringer
Win - all of their QBs are backups
Mtl - Calvillo done, backups in
Tor - Ray out, Collaros few games now
Now BC's turn, only Ham and Sask still have #1s, even Sask had Willy start a game.

Per Rick Ball: Travis Lulay is out for at least the next two games. He'll be re-evaluated after Winnipeg game. MRI done this morning.

Then you have Simon who tweeted about the CFL needing to look at the hit he took last week as that wasn't a findable offense on his one handed catch? Is it because he got up that nothing happened? And then you have Shane Horton who clearly lead with his helmet at 4:40 of the first quarter after Smith makes the reception, is held up by Morley who has him by the leg, and Smith was a defenceless on that play. I think that one might have been worse then those other two IMO.
And there this picture where unless your a complete idiot it doesn't look like a helmet to helmet hit. http://s1229.photobucket.com/user/ri...d74a6.jpg.html.
CFL supplementary disciple is a bigger joke then the NHL and that's saying something. Lets just start playing with flags as well because football both here and south of the border is turning into a complete joke.

Spin away all you want...that was a horrendous and illegal hit. Head targeted and hit, there is a reason a fine was levied, regardless of whether or not he is appealing. Watching it live and on replay it was clear as day.
As for the bolded part...if he didnt get hit in the flippin head, how in the hell did he end up concussed?
What a ridiculous assertion.

I'm fine with the fine on the play, but I agree with, Drake that the offensive players need to start taking some responsibility for their own safety. Defenders won't not hit them just because their head is down, they'll make the play (as they should) and deal with the consequences after the fact. I think the point for debate is how much of the damage did Kackert bring on himself? Does he get concussed if he doesn't lower his head like that? Obviously you hate to see injuries and Brackenridge should probably be fined, but in my mind a RB (or anyone) should not be allowed to drop his head like that. Or, if they do drop their head like that they should be giving up some of the rules designed to protect them as they're making it harder for defenders to get underneath them and tackle them with a low tackle.
And what's this I hear about Braley looking to sell his teams?

According to a report in the Hamilton Spectator, David Braley plans to sell both the BC Lions and Toronto Argonauts by 2016.
The report stated the 72-year-old Ontario Senator told supporters at a Progressive Conservative fundraiser in Hamilton that he will sell his two CFL franchises by the time he is 75.
Braley said he has seven people interested in buying the Lions and three people interested in the Argonauts. Selling the financially stable Lions will be easy but it could be a different story with the Argos, with the team still losing money.
Braley anticipates the Argos will eventually make money once a new stadium is secured for the franchise. He said three communities are looking at land for the new stadium and a location, as well as the finances to secure the new stadium, should be completed within a year.
Both the provincial and federal governments are expected to help finance a new stadium.
The Argos announced a new deal to keep the team playing at the Rogers Centre until 2017 with an early opt-out clause for the team should they want it. Both parties also agreed that no licence renewal past that date is contemplated.
