I hope O'Brien gets cut. I doubt it will happen since he's a vet, and has a mean side we don't have on D... but he's awful defensively. I prefer the following 9 defencemen to him.

Piling on a bit (and I obviously can't see what he did in this one), but from what I've seen of the player I have a hard time imagining Flames scouts/management watching film of SOB and thinking, "man, that's a guy that could really help this team."

It's just the desire to have a mean defender that will clear the net. Basically a younger Sarich... however Sarich could play defense.

Hopefully Sieloff plays his way onto the team instead.
