They should base the new jersey on the old fire engines then. The flames could be first to have Borussia Dortmund yellow in the NHL.

Use the right sides of your brains for a second, and think outside the box. People here seem to hate the idea/look of change. But we need to bring in a look at some point eventually. Whatever it is, I know you won't like it at first. But you'll all eventually learn to.
I loved when the Sharks brought in their black jerseys. They looked so badass. I think for a dominantly black jersey, these would be on the same level. Just with different shoulder patches (or none).

An all black Flames uniform is thinking outside the box?
Been there, done that. They were around for a long time too (98-06), it wasn't just a one & done thing.

No matter what the new design ends up looking like, half the people on here aren't going to be happy with it. I dont envy the designers.

I know, but the general theme of all black is what I mean by been there, done that. For the record, I actually don't mind the one you posted, especially if the other ones had never been released before. I've just had my fill of black, its been a dominant colour for far too long here. Wanna see something different now.

I would rather have some interesting color as the base of the jersey like yellow or orange or maroon rather than the generic black

That's when they'll be unveiled, or that's when they'll first be worn?
Do you know this from a reliable source, or are you just guessing?

If they'd use these, only 5% of people will complain (and those people are weirdos):

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. These are objectively awful. I earn my living with the "right side" of my brain, not that it matters. When was the last time you saw an "outside the box" gradient on a jersey? 2001 canucks jerseys? Abominable.

That would be a good roller hockey jersey.

It's sad, because it looks better with the flaming snot.

This is the Flames, not the Stampeders. Should have nothing to do with a horse.

At this point in time, I'm pretty much treating the "new Flames 3rd jersey" about the same as the "new Guns n Roses album".
Except that the Chinese Democracy only took like 16 years or whatever .
