Shunkaruk may turn out great but due to size (5'10) he will be one dimensional compared to a 6'2 crap disturber with great speed and skill.

Rumors are both Anaheim and Montreal would have took Poirier if Calgary waited to 28th.

I stand by my belief that Shinkaruk is only like 5'11" in skates. He's very small.

I'm very excited to go to that game tomorrow, really fun line-up to watch I think. Was worried they would play MacDonald and I wanted to see one of the new goalies in net so very pleased about that, also about the fact that our 1st rounders are going to be playing.

I'm pleased as well... Though its interesting to note Shinkaruk is getting rave reviews from the Canucks camp this far...he's been on a line with Kesler and Burrows... Shinkaruk has been better than Horvat according to every source I've heard from here in Vancouver.

Also, better than Gaunce and Jensen.

Hartley wants to give the goalies full games from here out. That probably means Ramo will play one of the games in Saskatchewan and Berra the other, while MacDonald works the Islander game at the Dome.


I assume the lineup going to Saskatoon will also be the lineup for the game in Regina on Tuesday. It's good for the kids to get the extra game, but it sucks that we won't be seeing them here on Tuesday.

Have to wonder about those decisions. I hope Granlund gets the game time he deserves.
