Geeze .... That interview with Popsicle about how he is preparing or today or feeling about today did not inspire any confidence.
Someone needs to get this guy a sports psycologist

Popsicle with an elbow injury in the first set. Looked like a hyper extension.
Will affect his backhand apparently, according to the commontators. Seems to be ok in the first game back, but the key will be when he has to return serve.

Long first set. It'll hurt whoever loses it

Someone may have already mentioned this, but between Raonic, Dancevic, Nestor (all of Serbian descent) and Pospisil (Czech) our team is almost as Serbian as the opposition. Either way it's sort of going to be a win for the host country...yeah I know we're the ones who raised and put our training resources into them but it's still funny.

Amazing effort to get this far... would have made big money if you bet on Canada as a DC semifinalist.
Hopefully Vashy isn't hurt... Has a great chance to keep building on his top 40 ranking over the last couple months of the season.
Great effort this weekend, lost but fought incredibly hard.

Kind of a heartbreaking ending..........he fought so well to come back and then loses it on a gutsy play that ends with an injury. Really impressed with him, really showed some character there.

Good news.. they get automatic entry into the world group next year, ranked 7th in the world and will be seeded, avoiding France, Spain, Serbia in the first round in February.

I think they get one of these guys, unless the rankings change.
Italy (road)
Netherlands (home)
Great Britain
Switzerland

Australia
Belgium
Japan

Why? If it were a football (soccer) match, there would be concerns for sure, but tennis fans are different. Yes, even in Eastern Europe.
Even the football fans, the problems are caused by the organised fan clubs, not by your every day, casual, soccer fan.
Congratulations are in order for Milos, Nestor and Pospil, each played extremely well. And the two wins were more than deserved.
Extremely happy we are in another final, especially since it's going to be in Belgrade again. Gonna be craaaazy... (if we win)

Sucks to lose, sort of happy I slept through it but good work on the side of our guys!
Who would've dreamed that Canada would be playing in the SF and not only that, but playing well and taking it so far. Hopefully we can develop some of our younger guys and can start really contending like this on a regular basis. If we had another top 20 guy, we'd be a powerhouse.

I'm just saying that I wouldn't be overly confident walking around chanting "Canada" while fully decked out in Canadian colors on the streets of an Eastern European city. Of course Tennis is different than soccer but still.
