Based on lineups, this should be a blowout for the Flames.

Not looking good. Unless CBC ends up streaming it, i dont think you will be able to see it.

The game in Edmonton is being streamed.

How do you figure? Looks to me like both teams have roughly 2 NHL lines and 3-4 NHL defensemen. Looks like a wash to me.

Of course it does. Except the Oilers 2 lines are their 2nd and 4th lines, and their 3-4 NHL defensemen are their bottom defensemen, and then their prospects haven't look competitive against anyone. On the Flames side they are playing their top two lines, which is nothing to brag about really, a compliment of their best young prospects, and their defense is probably better than anything the Oilers will ice all year long. But yeah, it looks like a wash.

Looking at the line-ups for this game the flames do have a leg up. I don't think it will be a "blow out" like the game in Edmonton.

I am actually amazed that the flames chose to stream the game in Edmonton.

The other game they can beat up on the oilers with fists. I assume a rookies might challenge McGratton.

Let the beat down begin. Oilers are going to finish 29th this year ahead of the Avs.

By that logic any NHL game is a wash. 4 lines, 6 D, 2 Goalies, all NHL.
