Speaking of autograph signings, Giordano did one in Toronto this summer at the Hockey Hall of Fame. I told him to have a better season, and he laughed.
He needs to turn it around...gonna be the leader on D (and likely the team in general), for better or worse.

Well. My vote would be Cammy but Gio is acceptable. At this point I'm guessing first Captain since Iginla will be a transitional one until the kids develop.
There's plenty of Leaders in the prospect group. Namely Ramage, Wotherspoon, Monahan and Knight. The leadership aspect is also something to watch for in their development. My choice for future Captain? Ramage.

I say either no captain or rotate it like a few tea have done. Cammy will probably traded and I think Gio and Glencross aren't going to be around for the lo g haul either. This team is in transition, I wouldn't mind just seei g how things pan out and let the team pick a captain

Could be tomorrow or next day. My guess is that he is introduced as the new captain wearing the new 3rd jersey.

I would rather not have it be Giordano, but rather someone to just be a place holder for it till we grow a real captain (like with Steve Smyth)... but I'm not in the dressing room and thats the only perspective that matters
It's amazing the lack of leaders we do have, wish we had a Dave Lowry type
