Well I lived on shawarmas during university which are pretty much the same thing. They tend to be in wrap form and hand held in Canada in my experience. The kebabs I have had in the UK tend to be open within a container and eaten with a fork. I really miss the garlic sauce that I used to get on my shawarmas and the complimentary baklava.
