Flames Tickets in Chicago

So I'm planning to go and see the Flames in-person for the first time ever on November 3rd. Anyone here who has had experiences buying tickets to the United Center? I'm sort of assuming that buying resale tickets is the best way to get hold of them, but I'm open to any suggestions.

I went to a Hawks/Wings game at the United Center last April and it was unbelievable - you will absolutely love it. As for tickets, they are insanely expensive for 'Hawks games. If you grab them from stubhub you'll obviously pay more than what's listed on the ticket; and that's what I ended up doing. Or you could just check when they go on sale and purchase them from the their site and have them shipped to you in Sweden.

I've only heard great/good things about the United Center, so I'm excited! Shipping won't be an issue since I'm currently in Illinois.

it's kind of like priceline in that you name your own price and see if the bid is accepted.
