So here's the new NIN Single, Everything. It's umm... something else, and probably not what you weren't expecting from the man who wrote the line "Big Time/Hard Line/Bad Luck/Fist...."
Is he trying to make the rotation on the Radio Disney station?

I really love the new Neko Case. I'm trying to remember the last time she did a solo show in Calgary. Was it folk fest a few years ago? She need to come back.
Body/Head Coming Apart LISTEN (Pitchfork)Coming apart is exactly what rock legends Sonic Youth have been doing over the past year, with the band's constituents dispersing into their own solo endeavors after married members Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon announced their separation. Body/Head is Gordon's new project, which finds her joined by fellow guitarist Bill Nace. While the duo's early efforts were purely instrumental—and the new songs retain their noisy, improvisational origins—Coming Apart features vocals by Gordon.

I actually like Congratulations a little more than Oracular Spectacular. I started out listening to Oracular Spectacular a couple years ago and then moved on to Congratulations only to be a bit disappointed at first. It took me a while to get into it, but right now I'd put it ahead. It's definitely a change of direction from Oracular Spectacular, and I think you're going to be disappointed if you're hoping they move back to the Oracular Spectacular sound. Everything indicates that they're headed in the Congratulations/Metanoia direction.
I think if they really wanted to they could keep putting out hit songs. They just don't seem to care to.
