Yeah I think it's unfair to say that about Roethlisberger. His offensive line has been brutal for most of his career, he has had very few offensive weapons over the last few years, and after Cowher left the coaching in Pittsburgh has been overtly mediocre from what I've seen. It's not his fault for much of the Steelers downfall in recent years.
Sure he's not Brady, Montana, Elway, or even Bradshaw, but he's still a pretty damn good QB.

I had assumed he was talking about Bradshaw.

I thought it was pretty obvious I was talking about starting QBs, but apparently not.

Simms and Hostetler were the Giant QB's who won Superpowers back than. Doug Williams and Mark Rypien did it for the Skins. Tough to be a bad QB and win two Super bowls.
Eagle fans...like Chief fans, don't know what it's like to have good quarterbacks on their team. Always trying to dress. Three up as a 9.

I don't know about that. McNabb was one of the top 5-10 QBs of the 2000s, and Cunningham wasn't exactly a slouch.

When he catches 1 ball for 5 yards next week against Sherman and doesn't do squat against other really good CB's in the NFC West maybe at the time you and others will understand why he was let go. He disappeared at the worst of times, had one game with 100 yards receiving last year and that was with my best bud Cameron, and failed to get open more times then I can remember. And contrary to what you want to believe the offense misses Pitta more then him.

Yeah the Ravens certainly aren't going to miss the 22 catches, 4 TDs, and 380 yards that he put up in the Super Bowl run last season.

Oh I knew what you meant, but what's the fun in discussing that? Who doesn't like bringing up irrelevant players from the past?

Rough week for Drake. His overrated team gets pummelled and their star WR who defected catches 13 passes in a huge game.
Sorry, the Ravens are going to miss Anquan Boldin. Big time.

Hey man, leave him alone. His QB is on pace to make $40k per completion.

NFL is reviewing an unnecessary cut block thrown by Suh. Hope you took the under on games before he gets fined.

Suh just can't help himself. That hit may not have been with intention to injure but it was definitely unneccessary.

I'm not so sure it wasn't intent to injure. What other reason are you cut blocking an O lineman 15 yards back. If you want to make it on the hilight reel, earhole or pancake him.

Yup....considering his past history and clear inability to control himself, you have to assume he was trying to hurt the guy.
I just dont get it either....such an intelligent and articulate guy with oooodles of talent, but he simply cannot help be a complete meathead.

Matty Melt 1-5 all-time in the Dome, and that lone win was only after Garrett Hartley missed that 29yd chip shot in OT. This rivalry's been a lot of fun for Saints fans in the Payton era

After a promising off-season, more of the same old Browns. Losing at home to the Fishsticks? Really?
Browns get C- grade and Weeden on the hot seat already: National Perspective
http://www.cleveland.com/browns/inde...nd_brando.html
ESPN.com's John Clayton sees a big difference between Brandon Weeden and Miami QB Ryan Tannehill.
"Tannehill over Weeden: Winning in the NFL comes down to the quarterback. Although Brandon Weeden still has a chance to become a decent NFL starter, Ryan Tannehill is better. That became pretty clear Sunday. The Tannehill-led Dolphins traveled to the Dog Pound and beat the Browns, 23-10. Or you can say the Browns beat themselves. Weeden threw three interceptions and had a fumble".

Huh? So you're saying he should have gone with a high block, which is also illegal and incredibly dangerous?
Suh didn't need to block him at all, but let's be honest, the area in which you are allowed to deliver a hit in a situation like that is a pretty small one.
