Joining the Club
The structure of the club changed last year, this year will remain the same. Now you have to tryout in order to join the club. We're always looking to add new players, and will highlight the positions we have the most desires to fill above in red.

A player can tryout for 3 games in a 7 day span. For example you can have 3 games on one day, then tryout again 7 days later if necessary; or you can have 1 game each on day 1, day 2, and day 7, and then renew your 3 game tryout sessions on day 8.

The type of players the gms are looking for are those who play the game with good positioning, hockey sense, and team play. Our competitive level is within the elite rankings, so we want to have players that can handle playing against the best clubs that the league has to offer.

PS3 Chat
We use the ps3 chatroom function to organize games. There are two present chatrooms for the club. One is a private chat for players that are on the team. The other, "cpf" is used when players that are trying out are participating. If you want to get in a game or check the status of a current game enter the chat. If you don't have an invite yet request one from another member currently online. Once you get in, it's saved and all you need to do is enter it when you go online to see if there are games going on.

NHL 14 TRYOUTS

Eligibility:

September is open tryout month.

During the entire month of September players who are looking to be on the active roster are encouraged to come out and play. As the first month sees a huge influx of new players who tend to stick around only for the first month priority* will be given to GM's, existing roster players, returning players from previous seasons & players who were on active tryouts from last season in that order. This year will also see priority given to players who are Fatas first, meaning leaving to play a VGHL or a GM will not guarantee your priority position when your game ends. If there is no open slots that player must wait until a spot opens up.

Please be aware that to start the season there can be anywhere from 6-15 people logged in at once so GM's will do their best to try and give everyone a fair opportunity to play.

*Even though there is a priority system in place GM's will want to evaluate all players so there might be instances where a GM will ask a player to sit a game or two so another player can have a chance at a tryout.

Fixed it

The other leagues thing is just so it's fair to people who sit and wait for a chance to play. No discouragement to play other leagues at all as several of us do.

Are you picking the game up at release this year?

It's not fair for players who can only play online a couple nights a week to have their spot taken by someone who plays VGHL online all the time.

It's up now, started the download at lunch, should be ready when I'm home from work. If you go to NHL14, there are 2 "demos", one is the early release game.

Hey guys, what value is there to get EA Season Ticket?

I only play NHL out of their sports titles in the following way:

Strictly play EASHL and teamplay/dropins
I purchase all slots and +5's

I read about it a bit it it mentioned it provided DLC, does this include EASHL slots/upgrades?

You get a big discount on the unlocks you purchase. That's why I buy season ticket it saves me about thirty bucks on the boosts I buy
