He changed his shirt twice today! Magic Lacoste.

Raonic was gassed at the end of that match, but Gasquet wasn't looking all that much healthier. I'm mighty impressed that he managed another five-setter today.

Thanks Robredo, rob us of Federer-Nadal under the lights and thats the effort you put in? I know Nadal is an absolute machine right now, but that was a pretty weak effort.

Wawrinka with a great start, wins the 1st set over Murray.

my mind is still being blown over him now being the top swiss player. but yeah, super dangerous guy cause he'll just fire away. i'm not watching the match at the moment but I'm guessing Andy's been trying to play rope a dope and it's failing horribly.

It'd be pretty wild if we got Nadal versus a Swiss guy in the Final and its not Federer. But Wawrinka has that kind of style where when he gets hot he can be very difficult to beat. About to go up 2 sets!

Wawrinka is up a break in the 3rd. He might just pull this one off.

maybe Youzhny will beat Djokovic tonight and that will complete Nadal's BYE to the championship trophy.

aaaand boom goes the dynamite. screw the big 3 or big 4, I want a Gasquet vs Wawrinka/Youzny final now, just to screw everything up and make the USO's stupid Monday final even more of a ratings disaster.

Gasquet is utterly devoid of any charisma. Wawrinka is slightly intriguing, I wouldn't mind a Wawrinka Nadal final I might watch

Wawrinka didn't even face a break point the entire match. Pretty dominant effort from him today.

This evening's match was a little underwhelming, but at least there was an extra set thrown in there for a good measure.

The crowd flustered Djokovic tonight...I definitely think this is Nadal's tournament to lose.

the crowd is funny that way, how they supposedly turned against Isner, but in actuality were just trying to get a longer match out of Monfils. I think this year in particular has been plagued by horrific blowouts and a lot of ticket holders just aren't getting their money's worth on the larger courts.

assuming we do get the nole/rafa matchup Monday, I think the crowd will cheer for whoever needs it more, in order to keep the match going and heading towards a 5th set tiebreak.

I've been chatting to a lot of people around me and the consensus is that it's definitely better to come the first week. That way, you can come and go to the courts with players you actually want to see, and you won't be stuck with a Nadal/Robredo blowout. Although, I do have a feeling no one expected Federer and Murray to be out so early and we likely wouldn't be having these conversations if they were still around.

Oh! Also, no more Coney Island dogs! I know someone wanted me to find out.
