Funny that just a few years back, he would have ranked in the top 5 flames prospects (maybe top 10) didn't crack top 30 in the cp polls, and is now suspended.

So... does he count against the contract limit? I'm guessing not but don't know for sure.
No loss for Calgary. Was probably destined for Alaska anyways. Might be the right choice for him depending on whether he had more longterm employment prospects elsewhere.

Did Howse play in the junior camp or whatever it was called in July?
Seems odd that he was stoked 10 days ago and now not. Maybe the thought of Alaska was not what he wanted. Anyway you slice it, he is done with the flames.

Maybe... but a lot of other people thought that if he showed up and put in the effort that he had the skills to go to the next level.
I know I had high hopes of seeing Horak and Howse ripping it up together in the NHL.

Yes, he was there. Not really someone you noticed though. He got buried by a few of the camp invite kids.
