Seneca Wallace didn't even make the trip to SD for yesterday's Niners/Chargers game. Before they left he told the team he was retiring.

Sounds like when McCoy was announced as the backup (shortly after restructuring his contract) that Wallace didn't want to fight for a 3rd QB position.

Bears cut LT J'Marcus Webb, any chance he catches on somewhere?

I think it entirely possible that Green Bay brings him in for a look...their O line is a mess because of injuries right now, and with the highest paid QB in the game to protect, they will be looking for any potential help.

ESPN ranked the top 100 offensive and defensive players in the game today from a panel of 63 writers/broadcasters etc. Aaron Rodgers and JJ Watt were #1 in their respective categories.

I do disagree.

I think Adrian Peterson is the best player in the league, offensive or defensive...and I'm not sure it is even close. Not at all a slight on Rodgers either.

Agree with Watt on the defensive side.

Just saw that Dennis Dixon was released by the eagles which is a stunner to me.

Kelley cuts his college QB in favor of Barkely....and they need a mobile guy for his spread offense/read option mentality?

Weird.

Yeah, those 3rd string QB decisions are always the ones that come back to haunt teams.

he could catch on as a swing tackle somewhere maybe, but his attitude is trash. After his demotion he stooped trying, he had the 2nd and 3rd strings for the Browns look like Pro Bowlers last night

Dixon is still practice squad eligible. There's no sense in keeping him on the active roster when he's not going to play. Kelly has repeated ad nauseum that he designs his offense to suit his QB and not the other way around.

It was also widely speculated that the main reason Dixon was brought in this summer was to help teach some of Kelly's terminologies to the other QBs.

I do? Because i commented about Mike vick...something everyone who follows the game has an opinion on?

More over...why do you care who i comment on? Is there a limit on what i can say or something?

Tebow and Vince Young released this morning. Who will be Green Bay's backup?

Wow stunner on Young considering they just released Harrell. Tebow's NFL career is now pretty much over.
