That is fantastic. He should have put a tire pump in there too.

Oh god, I hope he can afford to replace them. I hate to see him taking the bus to games.....

The summer of silence is over. Roberto Luongo's first interview since the Schneider trade tonight/tomorrow on Sportscentre (6et) #TSN
Strombone@strombone12m
@tsnjamesduthie *grabs popcorn*
James Duthie@tsnjamesduthie2m
Luongo will report to Canucks training camp, and says he is extremely motivated, but remains uncertain about his future in Van.
James Duthie@tsnjamesduthie1m
Luongo: "I had moved on from Vancouver and was ready to start fresh somewhere else...like a divorce...except she wanted me back."
James Duthie@tsnjamesduthie34s
Luongo also talks about breaking down after not being dealt at deadline and "blacking out" when he learned VAN had traded Schneider.
James Duthie@tsnjamesduthie37s
Luongo also reveals that in May he had serious talks with the NHLPA about the possibility of voiding his deal and walking away from 40m.

Be an interesting interview to watch. From the tweets it seems like he really wants nothing to do with Vancouver. Sounds like he is going to Vancouver to continue his career and hope for a trade or buy-out.

Torts, fading stars, and a goalie that almost passed out when he realised he was staying on the team.
Best. Season. Ever.

Can't wait until that team hits some adversity. That fanbase is growing fragile with a coach that battls the media, their 2 star players in the last year of their deals. Makings for a nightmare season in Van

So awesome. Breaking down. blacking out? The hate must be strong with this one. Can't wait for the season to start, should be fun.

The longer this goes on, the more I like Luongo. It seems like he hates the Canucks almost as much as I do.

I think I made the divorce analogy a while back in this or another thread...there is no way this was ever gonna be back to business as usual for Luongo. Gillis totally botched this situation. I actually kind of feel bad for Luongo and how he got jerked around by his organization, the Vancouver media, and the fans, and now he's stuck with them.

No kidding. I can't believe Gillis hasn't been fired over this.
