I read somewhere that Eason's performance in XX was rated as the worst in the history of the Superbowl.

That Bears defence could make anyone look bad.

Pats fans hating on Tony Eason for that loss would be like Flames fans hating on Martin Gelinas in 04.

Die hard Saints fan here. I grew up a Niners fan throughout the Montana and then Young era's but the first time I went to NO I totally fell in love with the city and then the rest of Louisiana. It is the only time in my life I ever changed sports team. I had originally jumped on the Niners band wagon because my fav colour is red but I never had ties to San Francisco. New Orleans became like a second home to me so I switched to the home team so to speak. Go Saints!

I think being top 5 in almost every QB category makes it so. Also having the most wins in NFL history in his first five years is very impressive.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers for me. Have always been a fan since Brett Favre and Reggie White were leading that team.

Elite is a loaded term, but it takes more than one playoff win to reach that level, IMO.

Some day, PMM. Some day...

Broncos fan since their first super bowl win. Didn't get to appreciate the two of them since I was a child and had any emotional tie to the team, so hoping that I'll be able to appreciate their next one fairly soon!

True. I didn't mean elite in the grand scheme of things. I just meant last season stats-wise.

But you're right. Elite is probably not the best word to use.

Go patriots. Hoping the receivers can make up for Welker.

And the Yankees, Cardinals, Celtics, Lakers, Canadiens, Red Wings and Man U.

Really going out on a limb there.

Started cheering for Dallas way back. Liked Randy White, Ed "Too tall" Jones, and then Tony Dorsett became my favourite player.
After that I added the Patriots when Bledsoe went there.
Started to like the Lions because of some running back.
Finally always liked Seahawks due to the TV exposure in the old days.

You got me. Even before Barry Sanders I started liking Detroit cause they looked like the Cowboys.

Another reason I sort of picked Detroit and Patriots was they were both awful at that time. Underdog sort of thing.

I actually hated the Seahawks because of the TV exposure in the old days. Back when there was only one game on per timeslot on cable I was forced to watch a suckfest that involved the Seahawks (They were horrible through much of the 80s and 90s) instead of getting to watch the game I actually wanted to watch.

No surprise based on my user name what team I support. Troy Aikman FTW!
