Very Happy for this McG. Hope he keeps the compete level high and proves he's worth twice as much as the level we signed him. I admire him as a player. Also, his grounding as the 2bears says. let's build a team!

Yeah, admire the guy for his passion...but if that was the end result I would be apt to amputate.

I just spent 5 years in Ireland, and was pretty heavily involved with hockey there. Im pretty sure somebody told me about this guy ("Big time Flames fan with tattoos and everything who lives up the North"), but I dont think I ever met him.

I think the real question is, is this fan right or is this fan wrong?

I can't believe that actually made it past some people who are supposed to look critically at whether or not it's a good idea to put something on the air.

This makes me want to torture babies.

I can confirm this since I was the one that tweeted him the link to this thread.

I then asked him to sign up on CP. I guy with this much heart and love for the Flames would be an awesome addition to the CP clan.

If you have a chance you should check out his other twitter posts. He posted pics of his other tats, Flames gear and other stuff. Very cool.

The Tattoo is mine, 1 of the 4 I have. It's true I'm from Northern Ireland and have traveled to Canada (ACC Toronto 14th march 2009) to see the Flames play. Thanks for the comments guys. I understand that some people don't like tattoos and that's cool but I'm happy with it as I am with them all. As for me being the wrong kind of supporter?...... Then is McGrattan himself the wrong kinda player just because he has tattoos?

Hey hockeyboi, were do you live up North? I am down in Cork and run into very few ice hockey fans let alone Flames fans, but I have seen one or two Flames hats here. Good to know there is at least one more flames fan on the Island.

Hockeyboi!! Great to see you on here. I met you in Wrexham a couple years back at the train station with my Mom. Couldn't believe I met a guy in a Flames jersey, with a Hitmen t-shirt underneath and an Iginla tattoo from N. Ireland in Wales. Interesting to see you've added a McG tat.
I told some people in Canada about meeting you and I don't think anyone really believed me. I wish I had owned a smartphone at the time so I could've verified with pics, but CP has come through now and proven it wasn't all a dream.
