Wow, why not just take your cash and flush it down the toilet? I've never worn cologne and the last girl to complain about it was way back in high school.

L'eau de naturel. Works really well during interviews.

Community Natural Foods has essential oils. Probably most "health food" stores carry them.

LOL!! This has to be one of the craziest DIY projects I've seen posted here. I'm just imagining some guy covered in tree sap and pine needles trying to smell nice.

And I'll echo sentiments others have mentioned. From what I can tell, cologne is considered somewhat dbaggy these days. Your modern woman LOVES the fresh out of the shower smell more than anything. Get a nice smelling shaving cream, keep your breath in check and you're in great shape.

Take Drakkar Noir and spray 7 squirts directly on the body, one on the crotch. That's the only way any real man should do it!

I dont know what is more wild, the DIY project or the fact I feel like a idiot for wearing 1 spray consistently. I had no idea how many people thought it was "######" to wear colgne. I like it and my view is it should only be smelled by your gf/date/wife if she is literally right next to you or hugging you.

The vocal minority.

I've gotten tons of compliments about how my cologne smells on me. It's a fairly common practise no? Maybe the CP crowd contains a few demographics that aren't dressing/smelling to impress when they go out? I dunno.

Strange thread.

What it comes down to for me is that I don't like smelling people at all. I know you're there, I can see you, I don't want to smell you. Even if it's a decent smell, there's just something in my brain that dislikes being able to smell people. The more you smell, the less I like you. There, I said it.

Lol do people really go out smelling to impress?!? I feel super old all of the sudden.

And I have to admit I've been intermittently wondering to myself how *would* I react if I got into the elevator with a man who smelled like his own unique mixture of lavender, cedar wood, and vodka. Still undecided.

Gah, cologne is nasty. Just stick to a non-Axe body wash and a good deodorant.

In all sincerity, I am totally into all natural/plant based extracts and absolutely not harmful toxins when it comes to cologne/perfume.

The best cologne for men (au naturelle, probably sounds gross but it's very good)

3 leaves of basil
teaspoon fresh rosemary
one tiny splash pure patchouli oil
one teaspoon sugar cane
3/4 cabonated bottled water
one teaspoon mint extract

Mixed together in small jar and put small amount on the base of your neck and a little under armpits. Can also be used as a great face mask minus the patchouli, and a bit more sugar. It's a very fresh, clean, masculine smell. My husband uses this concoction to wash his hair and the mint freshens his scalp and he smells great all day. It might sound effeminate however it's a very masculine, pure scent that is refreshing and helps wake you up in the shower.

Any product by Aveda can give the same result (ie rosemary mint shampoo or body lotion).

I used to wear cologne. One day I stopped and all of a sudden I had girlfriends and now a wife.

less than 10% of CP might wear cologne but there is a reason there are hundreds of options to choose from and they appear to be selling quite well! CP has taught me some strange things including:
90% of CP makes over 100k
90% of CP doesnt wear cologne
