Strange, I really do see it happening. People would just need to figure it out. Just takes enough repeats and word of mouth to get the lyrics around. About a month of home games in and most of the fans would probably know it. It's like anything new.. It's at least catchy enough.
I agree with those campaigning for Sleep Now in the Fire. It works on all levels. Just listening to it now. If they isolate the right parts of the chorus its perfect. Also its by a respectable well liked band and its an energetic song. Plus it'll shut up a lot of genre specific fans because its a band that represents rock and rap. Might not have the "annoying" factor as Chelsea Dagger but we don't have to be as annoying as teams like Chicago or Vancouver.
I endorse Sleep Now in the Fire.

I still don't see it, but it looks like it's just me lol. I think people chant with Chelsea dagger because anyone can do it. I don't see very many people (except for the outgoing ones) willing to belt out "sleep now in the fire!" at the dome. Also, in my opinion it just doesn't really work on that level. But, looks like I'm the only one so maybe it will work!
I know some people are pissy because they don't like Fall Out Boy... but My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light 'em Up) is the PERFECT goal song. Joborule nailed it. Do it Flames.
To reiterate (0:49 mark):

I can't believe Fall Out Boy is still being discussed. Better off with Barbera Streisand.

Am I the only one who thinks of the fall out boy light em up song as more of an intro sizzle video than a goal song?
It works either way, so it should be used in some fashion. They could use Sleep Now in the Fire as goal song and Light Em Up as intro video song if you want to go for win-win.

Artist aside it a great goal song since it has great energy and a part that can include vocal fan involvement that adds to the energy. It's exactly what you want in a goal song. The Fire theme is a bonus.
