Well if Sven makes his pick soon I will be ready with my 2 picks, so then hopefully he will be ready with his next pick.
I think this time around I am gonna try to do what PlayfulGenius did and pick players that I saw growing up. May need to dip into the 70's era if needed.

We should swap phone numbers or email addresses so we can let people know when they're up next. It sucks knowing one or two posters will constantly be holding this up, then the rest of us will take less than an hour to make each of our picks. I bet hockey will be forced to check every 15 minutes in vain hoping that his picks are up.

I was worried that my pick was gonna be this morning when I was at work and I wouldn't have time to make my pick for a few hours.

So am I losing the player I wanted because of an autopick?

Ok fine. I'll give Sventastic47 Teemu Selanne instead. Go ahead and make your picks.

Also I think we should bump up the time limit.
Maybe have an 8 hour time limit between 7 and 3, because people might be busy with work or whatever. Then from 3-10 have a 2 hour time limit. Of course no time limit from 10-7.

Another option - what if we just skip that poster and move on to the next. Whenever they return they can just make their pick immediately having missed out on a few players. Doing it that way means we can speed up the time limits, and there is no case where a random autopick takes away a guy someone might want...any objections?
Doesn't matter to me whether Teemu goes back into the pile or not...but I say Hatter should be up!

Why is there a rush? We got two months before the season starts

Seconded.

I think someone should get skipped over but they should still be able to pick the player they prefer if he's on the board

Agreed with powderjunkie's post. Also if posters miss too many picks then they are out and all the players they had are back on the board.

I dunno if they should go back into the draft, that just gives a huge advantage for the guy picking next. So the guy picking 120th could have the option of taking the player originally taken 8th, which isn't fair to the other posters. Just take him off the board entirely maybe, or find another solution of some sort?
I realize that's what we did last time, but allowing Trottier and Lafleur to be taken that low gave those two a huge advantage over others imo.

Last pick was 8pm last night...perhaps we can put Ezio on the clock now to see if he is actually doing this?
I agree that the players shouldn't go directly back in. If they must, I think you should have to sacrifice your next pick (or 2 or 3 if it happens in later rounds when picks are less valuable)...you could then make up those picks in the final round...

			Hatter go ahead and pick.
Oh and trackercowe. I'll do another randomized draft order for those picks that go back on the board.

I'll take an awesome 2-way Centreman, Bryan Trottier.
