I think both patches stand out too much but especially the Alberta flag. I would have liked to have seen a design with just the Alberta shield and maybe a stylized red and white maple leaf assuming Toronto would let you.
Alternately just use something specific to Calgary even if it is a cliché cowboy hat.

i loved the horse head jersey. would do anything to see it back. saw the flames beat pheonix (i believe) to clinch the playoffs in 04 in those sexy tarps

This gets brought up so often, but the reds are all the same. White/yellow + red makes the red look bright and orangey. Black + red makes it look a deeper and darker red. The actual red is the same.
It should be a different colour, but it isn't.

I love those jerseys. I have a primary one but it doesn't suit me too well, perhaps one of these will. If you already have one, don't be a hog. Let some of us other fans come scoop them up before they're totally gone.
Any legit word on what jersey is replacing them? Is it the horseheads? Could be interesting if it's done a different way.. maybe red instead of black. Or maybe a black C crest with horse head shoulder pads, like the '04s.
