Dexter, just put me on a gurney and put me out of my misery, I can't take it anymore. Not interested at all in this season. Glad it's soon over.

Dress Code was not a very thrilling episode. The story line just was all over the place and didn't have any impact for me as a viewer.
Zach will meet his end via Dexter's hunting knife this Sunday i am certain. He has had his fill of that little out of control freak.
The best part of the episode was the eye candy of Niki topless and semi bottomless.

No. It was another delivery I believe - she probably has a son or brother who is the brain surgeon. I think it became clear she has a past during the dinner scene.

I just don't know what they were having for dinner. That was very Hannibal "esque". This season drags on with no direction or purpose.

So at the murder scene of Dexter's hot neighbor, they mentioned that she knew her attacker since they were so far in her apartment with no struggle. So we've probably already seen the real brain surgeon killer. My guess is that it's the boyfriend, though if it's that cliche I'll be very disappointed. Wild guess is that Matsuka's daughter is the killer, that would give a reason at least for that whole pointless sideplot

But the killer has to be someone who knows Zach or knows of the police interest in Zach, since they tried to frame him with his blood from the car door.

Maybe Quinn, for wild guesses.

It's probably Jamie trying to secure Quinn the promotion by framing Zach.

Killing Cassie to further Quinn's career would be one of the dumbest plot twists in television history. I am hoping Quinn planted the evidence after the murder (while at the scene). But that still doesn't answer why she was killed in the same manner as the other girl.

The brain surgeon was trying to frame the kid, that's why the scene was similar and the blood planted. When that didn't work he killed him and left the body in Dexter's apartment

Honestly, I can see the writers doing something like that. It's gonna be someone totally unexpected, so the series ends off with a bang (especially since this season has been pretty ho-hum thus far). I think Quinn himself would be too obvious.

On another note, Michael C. Hall has a nice butt.

The BF met/saw Zach when he went to Dexter's the first time. I think he got close to Cassie as a way to get close to Dexter. He was even able to meet him at that party and shake his hand. There would be no need for his character at all otherwise.

Other random thoughts, Masuka's daughter could be the BF's accomplist, and is just using Masuka to get close to Dexter. The BF could be Vogul's son, jealous of Dexter's relationship with her.

The boyfriend told Quinn he didn't recognize Zach so something is definitely up there.

Captain whatshisname must have a role to play too towards the end. He was always protecting Dexter and has been protecting the Hamilton's too.

Show's going out into Lala Land.

So Dexter's become a normal person, basically. That's why this season has felt so unlike the show in the past. That and the lack of any real antagonist throughout the episodes.. we haven't had that since T. Marshall. He's barely killed anyone and when he did, it was for vogel or deb, and no due to his own need to kill. So looks like that's completely out the window now. No hunting or stalking on his own time... So what do we have left? Now he's got a little family of crazies and his first real infatuation with Hannah, so it's basically gone full soap opera. My only hope is this brain surgeon, who is the boyfriend btw and related to Vogel, will kill someone off, and cause Dexter to lose his s###, because that really, really needs to happen. Nothing can save this train wreck though, sadly. The writers must have purposely combined their brains to try to write the most lame and laughable season in TV history. So far, full marks there. The brilliance of season 4 and the trinity killer seems like a vague, distant memory now..

So sad.

I actually thought the most recent episode was an improvement on the prior ones (which isn't saying a lot as they were terrible and dull).

The kid actually was tolerable that episode. The most tolerable Zach had been... Ironic.

Vogel is such a stupid story line though. Just bad. A dr. that "trains psychopaths" to be "perfect killers"... Ugh...

I'm starting to become concerned that they're going to try to give Dexter a happy ending and have him somehow get away safely with Hannah.
