Well fridge works when plugged in. The 6 pack is nice and cold. Now just need to figure out getting it working with propane

You're doing it wrong - the next step should have been drink the 6 pack after which fiddle with propane and fire!

Your advice is terrible. I am down 4 beers and started to do an oil change on my car. I haven't even touched the trailer today

As our family grows we are considering an upgrade for more space. We will probably go to a unit with a slide out. As we have never had a trailer with a slide before I was wondering if anyone has had any bad experiences or have found it to add a lot of yearly maintenance?

I would bring/plan a lot of things to do. I don't know how old your kids are, but if you don't have things to do that will keep them busy its going to make for a long week! Board games, fishing, games like horseshoes/bocce or whatever will be well worth having.

You have probably already know this, but kids aren't great when it comes time to "just relax and enjoy the fresh air" kind of thing, aka sit around a crack a few beverages. The busier you can keep them, the better it is for everyone.

One good thing you can do is plan a scavenger hunt. Have items that are both naturally and non-naturally occuring. If you get really excited you an get some small prizes as well. You can pair up older with younger kids.

Make a trip to the dollar store for some new and disposable toys for the kids. $10 will buy you a lot of peace and quiet.

I once told a bunch of boys to go collect grasshoppers <Insert other specimen here> in a pepsi bottle for an hour, and see how many they could get. (Thinking they wouldn't catch a single one, they came back with like 43.) If all goes well, hour 2 will be trying to beat that record!

Fundmark's trailer question of the day!

I have located the 120v electrical cord that was cut off at some point. How do I go about wiring it back in. Do I need to put a 30 amp cord end on it or should I just put a regular plug end on it. Or does it matter?

The key was to hold the ignition button pressed as well as holding the metal switch over. Works like a charm

We weren't to far from you, we were in the random spots across highway 40 from dutch creek, I can't wait to go back! That river is one of the coldest things I have been in in a while.

Any recommendations for good campsites within 45 minutes of the city? Going this coming long weekend with the family, but also have a soccer tournament at the same time in Calgary, so I'll be driving back and forth in-between games.

We've been going to Sibbald Lake the last few times, but wanna try somewhere different. We do have kids, so kid friendly ones are preferred (parks etc.)...a creek/river/lake/some form of water also is nice.

Ideas?
