Is there some kind of mailing list I can get put on?

sexting != child pornography
My point was only that, despite it being done a bajilion times a minute, by Canadian law in the case of sexting amongst minors,

sexting = child pornography

No, it could be - but a 25 year old sending a picture of themselves to another 25 year old isn't child pornography but it is sexting. If that 25 year old was sending a picture of a 15 year old, then yes it would be.

The question arises as to what if all parties are under the age of 18, if a 16 year old sends a picture of a 15 year old is that child pornography - what if the 15 year old sends a picture of themselves to another minor... are they guilty of sending child porn?

Does it have to do with consent of the minor n the picture if all parties are minors?

Yeah. That's why I added the "in the case of sexting amongst minors..." part.

It doesn't matter what the distributors age is, the only different's that makes is if he's charged as a young offender.

It has to do with the age of the victim, yes victim.

A person under the age of 18 can't give permission to have pornographic pictures distributed especially by a third party.

Its a major crime.
